Swallowing problems can affect people of all ages. Speech & Language Therapy staff at the Rowan Centre in Lisburn are helping to shine a light on #SwallowAwareness & the vital support they provide. They're determined to provide a safer & better quality of life for everyone 💙

Today’s patients had fur, fluff, and lots of cuddles 🧸 The Downe District Nursing Team hosted a Teddy Bear Clinic in the Convent of Mercy Nursery School Downpatrick, helping children learn all about what nurses do in a fun, hands-on way! Thank you team ✨

There were 1911 cases of violence & aggression against our staff last year, which is completely unacceptable We are now introducing Body Worn Cameras at the Ulster Hospital’s Emergency Dpt. We want to protect our staff & patients as they care for people who need their help.

It’s #SignLanguageWeek 🤟 Our Sign Language Interpreting Service is available 24/7 to support communication for Deaf patients across Health & Social Care, including appointments, emergency departments and remote consultations. Accessible communication matters ❤️
