I’m in Florida of course I’ve watched a basketball game. I was bored out of my mind. Granted I was not as bored watching a basketball game as I was watching a baseball game, which was literally like watching paint dry. Football was a little less boring than baseball, but more boring than basketball. Soccer was equally as boring as basketball, though I don’t really see one being much less boring than the other.

yes, but they’re in a sport where they actually do take hits and it’s entertaining. They’re literally skating around on ice with knives attached to their feet, making highly technical shots on a goal with something tiny and trying to get it past somebody who is specifically trained to stop it, and fighting is a part of the game. As opposed to running up and down slowly and just making sure that the ball bounces enough.

@shtaffer @ella__j24 Way more happens is subjective. I think runs are more equivalent to goals. They score so much it almost cheapens the value of it. Hockey scores more than soccer, way less than basketball. Perfect sweet spot

@shtaffer @ella__j24 basketball is so sloooooow. They just jog back-and-forth on this tiny wooden plank and throw something at a high goal. And so many of them are so dramatic, like the soccer players flailing around they all pretend like they’ve been hit. None of them could actually take a hit.
