Skillstaking

Skillstaking is a new model for web3 gaming which aims to disrupt the industry. Token holders (investors) stake under player rank nfts and earn variable yield based on their rank. Players are then delegated voting power in-game to guide the developers.

A key thing about @skillstaking which you'll notice on release is that we started from the user experience and worked our way back to the tech. This isn't a tps advancement or backend algorithm being created. It's a completely new kind of experience designed for people to use.

Soon we will be releasing @skillstaking, a web 3 & ai protocol enabling people to back their favourite players in game and earn token rewards based on their rank. The first integration will be our own title @arcaschampions with a new 4v4 ranked game mode called ’Eggsplosion’ 🥚💣 Powered by @soneium, @sequence, @StartaleCS, @GoogleStartups and @chainlink our system will set a new standard for what web3 gaming is for years to come. Stay tuned, it’ll be worth the wait.

A decentralised AI powered anticheat would solve alot of critical issues tied to financial incentives in gaming. Coupled with an onchain oracle to publish the data we would create a new degree of truth allowing for rank to be utilised as a financial instrument onchain.

Web3 Gaming is Stuck Almost 4 Years following the rise of Axie the term 'Web3 Gaming' is mostly associated with either: Onchain Games (Bigcoin, Onchain Heroes...) or Real Asset Ownership (Off the Grid, Star Atlas...) The first category is mostly focused on the existing degen audience and innovates on casino / risk based games. The latter is focused on fun gameplay and tokenising in-game digital assets onchain, giving gamers the benefit of 'ownership' so that they can trade assets on the open market. Both of these categories definitely have space to grow, but what if there was more? Back in 2021 when Axie went viral a key aspect of it was it's scholarship system. It brought together investors and gamers boosting their user aquisition and incentivising investors to hold their assets. At @ArcasGames we believe this to be the most promising application of web3 in gaming, letting people support their favourite players in-game and earn as they win. And that's why we are building @Skillstaking .
