@A_GymGuy We’ve been woeful for a good 12 months now. He’s never going to turn it around. He’s lost the dressing room and the fans. He should’ve had the bullet after PSV 🫠

@WilcoFtbl We are a shambles of a club at the moment … If Slot is here next season we are doomed

@NickyAllt The only time time we ever see or hear from the owners is when we’re in a final or we’ve won a trophy 🫠

Some poor players in that side right now. Jones, Konate, Salah, Gomez all simply not good enough, plus others, Van Dijk maybe finished, truth is, nowhere near good enough all round after what was a record transfer spend.
These Owners are letting it drift, week after week, while living over in the states, the managers family live in Holland, so he’s got one eye on his real home constantly. Embarrassing all round this defeatist set up.
When you commit to a football club like Liverpool, we expect you to commit like the people who love and built its name, the ones who drove this club to success, who created its culture, its songs, its atmosphere (another thing they’re letting drift, or even busy killing off).
This is a shadow of the Liverpool that fights (like our beloved families who never gave up the fight for justice. If you have a winners mentality like the people who adore this club, then get a manager who lives here (at least in the NW) and commits heart and soul, get young hungry players same, and start NOW, not in any distant summer, and stop this drifting along to another defeat, another set of new excuses and more football mediocrity. #Liverpool

This was a very enjoyable read. Big admirer of Monty Don's style. For about five or six years, I emailed him once or twice a year to see if I could interview him about his sense of dress, but never with success. To me, he's a great example of developing personal style.
