@krlvi @openclaw I bought a mac studio to be able to deal with stuff like this :) So my main setup now is a thin client (whtn travelling) - small macbook air that I use to ssh around to main machine at home

my @openclaw runs in the tiny mini PC but gets to ssh into the MacBook below it for coding tasks. is there a way to close the laptop lid without it going to sleep? also should I worry about thermals?

Overall, I feel that SI is very deservedly not mainstream. It's AWS only, insanely expensive, and IaC in git with IDE support just feels more productive. (14/14)

I briefly tried @thesysteminit (SI). I totally get the pain people have with terraform. Especially when the changes are small, and especially when infra review/apply happens via PR+CI pipeline, terraform feels awkward and unproductive. 1/x

Got told yesterday at @belfastairport that I couldn’t travel with my deodorant stick because it was “a banned liquid”. Absolutely awful supervisor tried to shout over the top of me when I was explaining that it’s not the first time I had used it - she was having none of it. So I walked to boots (through security) and bought EXACTLY the same one! What a joke

@stack72 @thesysteminit That is so cool. What language did you write it in? I've wanted to write a fuse filesystem, but have been intimidated.

So we built a fuse style Filesystem for being able to interact with @thesysteminit - we didn't add macFUSE support yet and I was impatient... so I ran the binary in a container and needed to turn on rsync because: "Unfortunately, Docker on macOS doesn't support automatic bidirectional syncing of FUSE mounts to the host system. This is due to the architecture of Docker Desktop on macOS, which runs containers in a Linux VM." This is why we can't have nice things
