Summit continues to evolve | @SeismicSys 💡 Summit has shipped an important consensus upgrade with support for dynamic validator sets. This change enables the network to adapt more naturally over time, providing greater flexibility as the ecosystem grows. As an EVM-equivalent Proof-of-Stake system, Summit is designed without permanent validator lock-in. Validators are able to join and exit the network as needed, which strengthens decentralization and improves long-term network health. With each new epoch, Summit forms a new validator committee and initializes a fresh Simplex instance. This ongoing rotation enhances consensus reliability while maintaining high performance and predictable finality. The protocol remains fully permissionless, ensuring open and unrestricted participation. For those unfamiliar with the project, Summit is a consensus client built for Reth and developed as a fast, production-ready solution for teams building EVM-based blockchains, including projects such as Seismic. Credit to the commonwarexyz team for the foundational engineering work that enables upgrades like this and quietly pushes the ecosystem forward. Hello everyone 🤟 As you know, most discussions about blockchains focus on the issue of trust. Who verifies the transaction. Who maintains the ledger. But there is another question that is rarely formulated directly: who sees the data. Bitcoin solved a real problem - trust in institutions has been replaced by trust in code. A fundamental solution, not a technical detail, because it is a change in the very nature of financial transactions. But the transparency that made it possible became a ceiling for another class of players. Financial institutions do not hide transactions out of paranoia. Trade secrets are not a weakness, but a basic condition for the existence of the financial business. So we have antagonism. The @SeismicSys team has taken on the task of solving this problem and is building a blockchain where privacy is at the protocol level. Not a superstructure, not a compromise - a fundamental solution. This is what my art today with Rocky, the Seismic mascot, is about. I hope you like it. By the way, it already works. Blend is building a treasury infrastructure for fintechs on it - multicurrency accounts, monetary instruments, payment rails. The first generation of blockchains opened the registry to everyone.
