Christopher Perkins was named CIAA QB of the week after a career day against Livingstone. Perkins accounted for 84% of the team’s 409 total yards in the 39-27 win. The QB tallied 344 yards and 5 total touchdowns, highlighted by a 73-yard rushing TD.

ECSU coach Adrian Jones will be honored with the Legacy & Leadership Award Aug. 16, Durham County Stadium during the inaugural Bull City Classic Jamboree. Jones led Southern High to the 3A state championship back in the day. Ken Blocker is the organizer.
