majority of why i made tsk.tools was so i could use it, and its delivering exactly that. this is an example for this project, but the way im using it for my actual job is the same, i've essentially exposed my agents to my entire company. 🧵

cannot comprehend deploying features by typing them on a website i created, clicking a button, moving on to the next thing, and the website just updating? if past me knew this was coming idk how i'd react. not even conceivable

this was from about 30 minutes ago, the core is there now its just about managing the processes. this is where self host is sweet, can scale as needed. at some point will need to make some optimizations to how the data is served, lot of live writes compared to the projects ive built before

really hard to capture but should dedicate some time to a promo video, have wandered into team virtualizing in slack with different project managers to now parallelize the implementation

have used composer 2 almost nonstop now for 2 days, cursor usage % is thanking me and feels on par with what 4.6 would put out. do i need to go back, or keep rolling with it?

the conversational piece of deploying your agents into slack is tough, everyone talks differently. i feel like you need to strike a balance of "yea its a robot, it should know everything" but also isnt constantly annoying you, over thinking, over complicating, etc

@rl_env i doubt it, theyre building a lot of great stuff and have a good team, no reason to stop the party so soon.

obvious follow ups here: - should be conversational, as if it was actually a team member – "plan mode" type thing should work here, then the eng goes in and clicks run in cursor - maybe need some sort of "approved" feature so that non-technical can sign off (or so eng can call out that it was a requirement they specified)

took longer than i wouldve liked but had actual work, after back and forth with slack creds got it working... albeit shitty, but now the quick iteration (fun part)

had to make a slack org just to test this thing out, the instructions on the landing page will have much more detail going forward as theres a lot of config you need to do on slack to get it working (interactivity url, secrets, scopes, etc)

being able to start a cursor cloud agent directly from the frontend has really 10x'd this thing. can't get over the fact that im improving this (and improving my actual job workflow) all from the app itself. mindblowing.

shipping slack integration shortly, should be as easy as EC2 self hosting, everything im adding is designed for someone who doesnt think of themselves as an engineer (but thatll make it easier)
