Tonight will mark the 2nd time ever @Vol_Hoops has played in Lucas Oil Stadium. The first? Coincidentally on this exact day 11 years ago when the #Vols lost a heartbreaker in the Sweet 16 to 2-seed Michigan. (Side note, that 2014 team had some studs)

For the first time in @Vol_Hoops history, Tennessee has made 3 straight Sweet 16’s! Barnes gets flack for his March record but I’d say it stems from taking such good teams into March and bowing out to a lower seed (outside of last year). Will this year be different? 😬

Interesting box charts of the eFG% of Rick Barnes @Vol_Hoops teams. Believe it or not, one could argue this year’s #Vols team is the 2nd best shooting team of the Barnes era. Side note: it is wild just how consistently good that 2018-19 team was

Since returning to the lineup after a 1 game absence, Zakai Zeigler & Igor Milicic have been on an absolute heater! Zeigler shooting 76.9% from 3 & Milicic with an eFG% of 81% probably isn’t sustainable but they’ve definitely kicked it up a notch the past 4 games @Vol_Hoops
