Bud Selig hated the A’s in Oakland, blocking sales from 1999-2005 until his college buddy Lew Wolff & John Fisher bought the team (to move it). He failed to buy A’s in 1967 (wanted them in Milwaukee) and held a grudge since. Just another reason MLB’s anti-trust exemption must go.
