@LauraGMitchell @mplsbikewrath Yes, we update the list of lives lost in traffic crashes annually in the spring as part of our annual Vision Zero report. We anticipate the annual report will be presented in April this year.

@mplsbikewrath @visionzerompls They have the 2022 names on there so seems like they’re missing 2023 (assuming they update annually). I suspect there’s a lag in data bc the red light call Ethan Fawley hosted last month only had data through 2022 and he indicated ‘23 information was preliminary (21 fatalities)

@Theqwikbrownfox @mplsalex Note that storm drain infrastructure realities mean that curb bump outs there would be cost prohibitive at this time. We are piloting a floating bump out that could allow us to more cost efficiently deliver curb bump outs in the future.

We received 747 applications this year for neighborhood traffic calming. Map of applications: cityoflakes.maps.arcgis.com/apps/instant/b… Staff are in the process of screening & scoring these applications. When complete, staff will contact all applicants w/ an update and advance the top scoring.
