You should start from the very first one, and go in release order! The first 4 games (Assassin’s Creed and the next 3 games we call “The Ezio Trilogy”) are the best. That being said, I stopped enjoying at AC Unity (2014, the 8th game). And after that it’s just… not “Assassin’s Creed” games anymore.
