I’d like to thank MP @HonAhmedHussen for co-sponsoring this bill with me and for his counsel. I hope that all MPs will support this legislation. Canada is home to many Canadians of Somali heritage. Canadians of Somali descent have left and continue to leave a historic mark on Canada, with contributions that span communities across the country and are reflected in Canada’s economic, political, social and cultural life. If passed, Somali heritage month would give us an opportunity to celebrate that heritage, the role that Canada has played in supporting Somali Canadians and their contributions to Canada.

On May 5, 2026, military veteran Kevin J. Price was pressured by a PCVRS Doctor to relive his traumas during a virtual assessment.
One month later, Sudbury Police and Child Services showed up at his door without a warrant, demanding to search his home and interrogate his children.
When Price refused them entry, the officers called in the SWAT team. As the tactical unit prepared to smash the door down right in front of his children, he surrendered to shield his family. They dragged him straight to a mental health facility — and left him chained to a bed for over an hour.

Toronto's 'Do West Fest' happened this weekend and it was a complete shitshow.
YNs (young black thugs) were climbing on the roof of stores and cars, lighting firecrackers in the crowd, women were sexually harassed, people were robbed, people were getting squished in like a mosh pit, others were having liquids dumped on them, etc...
Toronto is becoming an unsafe city. FIFA should be interesting!

The grocery rebate is a complete scam.
Firstly, it is the gst credit, renamed to grocery rebate. Nothing new here. A gold painted turd 💩.
Second, my parents only got $90.40 for theirs… not the $890 the liberals keep spouting off in question period.
My dad called CRA, asked why, they said because he made too much money… my parents are low income since my dad was forced into retirement several years ago because of a vehicle accident. They said they based my parents eligibility on his last year that he worked income…. Not these last 3 years on CPP pension aka poverty…
This is disgusting, sickening and pure evil.
