Loved your talk at York @waugh_JS I wish I were a student again. I’m reading The Life of Charlotte Brontë by Gaskell 1857 2nd Ed. in dire need of conserving. Would you know anyone who could do it for me? Lucky my sister has a French degree to translate the pages of French text!

@FoxyLady0811 Hi Louise - thanks for booking! The book's still in hardback & quite expensive (it's on Amazon but you'll see what I mean 🤣) - which is partly why I want to try to give a sense of the content without asking people to purchase. Will give some reading suggestions tomorrow though!

so it’s just over two weeks until i submit my MA diss. WHY is it that only now i’ve found a critic whose argument talks about something i discuss in my first two chapters? am i validated that i’m not talking rubbish or annoyed that i can’t think an original thought? 😅
