I finally decided to leave X/Twitter. You can find me on 🟦sky instead: @vincenius.bsky.social
If anyone wants to join me - DM me for an invite (I'll occasionally lurk over here). See you over there 👋
My server provider has a network outage - This means my email service is unavailable, causing all links in my weekly newsletter to not be available 🤦♂️
What a bad timing...
@CKozalla I was pretty happy with IONOS so far because the pricing is good, and it runs on green energy. But the outage is really annoying as it's going on for more than 2,5h already 😖
@wweb_dev Yea, I suppose it's since Monday, when they had a major incident of some sort 🤷♂️ I am only hosting my personal website there and a side-project.
Did some research regarding other providers: Hostinger, IONOS and Strato are still on my list 👀
@CKozalla I recently switched to IONOS, because I was looking for a VPS that runs mostly on green energy.
Wow, since Monday - that's a really long downtime 😅
@wweb_dev By any change is your server provider Contabo?
I rent a small virtual server there, and it is offline since Monday.. I mean, the server is still running, but the network is down, and I can only access it via VNC 😶
I made this small tool - Buttons Generator.
100+ buttons you can use for your projects.
It is live on @devhunt_ today.

🗓️ October
📷 MRR: $39.40
📨 Subscribers: 1101
Last month, I focused more on reducing costs. By moving away from Mailerlite, I save like $40 bucks a month. Today I'll move from Vercel to save another $20
🗓️ September
📨 Subscribers: 855
💰 MRR: $40.50
Got quite some subscribers this month through paid ads. This month, I'll work on improving my sponsorship flow to make it more attractive & easier to use 😊
My goal for the #webdev newsletter on webdev.town is to grow to 1000 subscribers and $100MRR by the end of the year :)
I'll report below how it is going 👇
#BuildInPublic
Today I've been playing around with logos for my latest project (which I've decided to name "OpenMailer")
Which idea do you like more? 🤔
#BuildInPublic
Made this internal document for new hires.
It includes:
- How newsletters make money
- The numbers behind successful growth
- Why 'cheap' subscribers actually are expensive
Want it?
Comment "doc" and I'll DM it to you (for 24 hours only).
