He also seems to be politically conservative. It’s interesting to see what counts as problematically “divisive” politics in sports to some at ESPN. For reference, this commentator was a big fan of NFL anthem kneeling. But that was *good* divisive, it seems. Disappointing to see this reaction from a pundit I generally enjoy.
