Javier Bardem on Susan Sarandon getting fired by her agent after speaking out about Israel’s actions in Gaza: "That tells you how wrong this whole system is. She was one of the first ones to go there. And then she got that professional punishment." Bardem says he’s “heard things” about facing similar consequences for speaking out: "'They were going to call you about that project, but that’s gone. Or This brand was going to ask you to do the campaign, but they cannot.' It’s fine. I live in Spain. American studios are not the only place." wp.me/pc8uak-1lHdk7

@Variety I now know every important detail from the story, from the shirt and bow tie by Zegna, the shoes by Martinelli, the pants by Fursac — but no mention of the firing agent or agency. 🤔

@AVARY @Variety Right, there’s a thousand actors/actresses that have spoken out against Israel and she’s the one that gets fired. Also the only one who doesn’t work anymore…Unless she’s getting paid to appear at protests
