@AVARY so true….Im old enough to remember if you were IATSE your could gift a friend your extra hours so they could qualify for next years health insurance. Then that became a bucket of hours allocated by the union. THEN they did away with that around 2016. It’s a complete joke.

@AVARY Worked on a film under a similar situation $850,000 - financed by the director. Not IATSE, Teamsters looked the other way, until a disgruntled Set PA took video and bugged the Teamsters until they couldn’t ignore. Budget went up. LP had a nervous breakdown.
