Tom Holland thought Christopher Nolan hated his performance on his first day filming "The Odyssey" because he kept calling cut. In reality, Nolan's cuts were due to the limitations of the Imax cameras: “And in my head, I was like, ‘Does he not like what we’re doing? @AVARY The counter argument would likely be that these limitations make him more specific about getting what he needs instead indulging in an unnecessary surplus of takes.

@AVARY It’s liberating to run the camera. However performance fatigue is real. Actors that worked with Kubrick and Fincher have spoken about this. IMO do what you need to do to get your vision on screen and avoid comparisons with others that aren’t making your movie.
