Not usually one to tweet about travel woes, but this is nuts. My @AmericanAir flight from ATL to LGA is delayed until two people agree to get off the plane. It’s overbooked and they’re offering $2000 to fly out tomorrow. They switched this flight to a smaller plane at the last minute.

Last-minute plane changes like these are always a last resort in the interest of the safety of our customers, and we're sorry to hear things are stalled at the gate. @AmericanAir @AlexMSilverman Why wouldn’t FAA Rule 240 kick in and you get the $2000 + AA would also have to put someone on another carrier to get them to New York. I hope you took it Alex.
