Finally a MP @raghav_chadha is bringing our points to the House. My suggestions to FM Madam @nsitharaman ji - Tax Consumption (already done with GST) - Keep STT as it is. Rework on STCG and LTCG to avoid double taxation. - Incentivise Investors with ZERO LTCG if equity investment held over 2 years. This needs to be seriously considered. - Fix LTCG at 10% if less than 2 years and STCG at 15%. - If above is done, indexation is not needed.
