It's been more than three years and I wonder if the U.S. childcare system will ever recover from the pandemic. Our kids are in one of the oldest, most stable programs in our community, but the center is facing staffing shortages that is forcing a reduction in hours.

Everyone else has decided the pandemic is over, but it very much feels like many parents/caregivers are still in the thick of it.
