@BarstoolWake Beating 1st ranked Duke basketball in 2009 on a last second layup to become #1 ourselves. And then promptly watching the team disintegrate and lose to a 13 seed Cleveland State in the tourney. The highest high and the lowest low lol

@BarstoolWake Freshman year. 1979 Homecoming Game versus #13 Auburn. Down 38-28. Jay Venuto was the quarterback who led us back after the epic halftime speech by Coach John Mackovic, “Never, never, never, never, never, never give up.” We end up winning 42-38.

@BarstoolWake The Wake-Duke game in basketball this year, State football game in 21, and the Bama super regional game to advance to Omaha. Best atmospheres I’ve ever seen at wake games.

@BarstoolWake The Quad 3/12/95 when Childress and Duncan won the ACC and Chapel Hill 12/20/03 when Chris Paul spoiled Roy Williams ACC head coaching debut. I also stayed for the Maryland comeback in 2009 and the Chapel Hill comeback from down 31 in 2001.
