@stripe Now fix adapive pricing not being settled in the same currency if I have a bank account enabled in that currency.

For Adaptive Pricing to work, your price currency must match your account's settlement currency. Note that having a bank account in a currency doesn't automatically make it a settlement currency. Please check your settlement currency configuration in your account settings and make sure your prices are created in that currency.

@stripesupport Adaptive pricing works fine. Customers can pay in EUR and GBP and whatnot. What doesn't work is Stripe settling in those currencies. It's still being converted to USD. I don't use Stripe "price objects" I just send the price in the API call to create a Checkout session.

@stripesupport What also is not great is that Stripe is hiding certain payment methods when a customer uses adaptive pricing. If I create a payment in EUR, they show. If I create a payment in USD, but the customer chooses EUR in Checkout, some methods never show.

Adaptive Pricing and multi-currency settlement are separate features. To settle in EUR or GBP, add a bank account for each currency and configure them as settlement currencies in your settings. On payment methods, this is a known limitation. Thanks for sharing this, and we've passed your feedback on to our team.

@stripesupport I have added a EUR bank account. The problem is that when users choose EUR to pay instead of USD, it's still settled in USD on my side. Even if it worked, Stripe charges 1% for it which seems odd since no currency conversion is required and you already have EUR banks in Ireland.

Having an EUR bank account doesn't automatically enable multi-currency settlement. You'll need to enable it separately in your Dashboard. A couple of questions to help clarify: 1. Have you enabled multi-currency settlement in Settings > Payouts? 2. Is your EUR bank account set as the default for EUR settlements? Once both are configured, EUR payments should settle directly to your EUR account without conversion.

@stripesupport There is no Settings > Payouts though. There is Settings > Business > Bank Accs & Currencies. Which shows enabled USD & EUR accounts.

@Jasper___D Sorry for the confusion. The page you've screenshotted is the right place. You can edit the default settlement currency there to avoid the conversion charges.

@stripesupport But I don't want to do that. I just want payments to settle in EUR on that EUR bank account whenever a user pays in EUR, which they can do because I have adaptive pricing enabled. Everything else can be converted to USD like it is now. For some reason Stripe does not do this.

@Jasper___D To settle EUR payments directly to your EUR bank account, you'll need to enable multi-currency settlement for EUR in your settings. This is separate from Adaptive Pricing. Take a look here for more details: docs.stripe.com/payouts/multic…

@stripesupport Then I give up. I don't know how much clearer I can be in explaining the issue. Stripe needs to work on this.
