@SvartHette Joackim is just a typical leftist man, defending an injustice that will never affect him.

@CALEXO2 @SvartHette Maybe in the future. Right now the ban is in the UK. And I don’t think Joakim has reproduced.

@AurexVanguard @SvartHette I mean I kind of agree with him because radical leftist only exists because kids get brainwashed on social media while going through puberty, so I don’t want my future kids on the unrestricted internet

I disagree. I think this is primarily a parenting issue, not a government issue. Parents should be setting boundaries, teaching critical thinking, and deciding when their children are ready for social media. For many neurodiverse kids, online communities can be a lifeline and a place where they finally find people who understand them. 🚩What concerns me is that some people seem comfortable with governments deciding which platforms are acceptable and which are not. If Bluesky is considered acceptable while other platforms are restricted, that starts to look less like child protection and more like steering young people toward approved viewpoints. Parents need to step up. No state should be raising any children.

@AurexVanguard @SvartHette That I do agree with. The less government the better, but if the government is involved, this one at least makes sense. I think my childhood (especially age 12-15) would be better if I wasn’t fed propaganda all the time. The parents of the future are also a lot of irresponsible -

@AurexVanguard @SvartHette parents who haven’t even learnt to take care of themselves and are fed lies about kids being bad and that you shouldn’t stress because of them so a lot of parents just give the kid an iPad and lets the iPad raise the kids (but that’s going to happen anyways)
