if you don’t want to spend money on a game because you can already play it for free then it sorta seems like the solution is already built into your problem

@TAHK0 If this thing sells well, they’re just going to keep releasing old games for 20$. Idk how people don’t see that as a potential problem. Personally I hate rereleases, remasters snd remakes. Give me new content. Stuff like this, no matter how small, takes resources to produce

@CableTiVo @TAHK0 There's no problem. We know that they're working on plenty of new games. In fact, the real concern is that quantity comes over quality. If you dislike old games, feel free to ignore them.

@CableTiVo @TAHK0 I'd rather pay $20 for the older pokemon games just to have them on a current platform with Home compatibility (even it takes time to do it). I do "hate" that it's ONLY FR/LG being released because 30 years of pokemon is more than just Kanto.

@CableTiVo @TAHK0 You know full well that the DS games will be priced more expensive than the GBA games. Like, all 5 mainline GBA games will probably be $20 each, and all 9 mainline DS games would probably sell for $30 each (assuming they bother with Sinnoh tbf). It's sad...
