I will never be able to understand people who hate Messi. He's never given people a genuine reason to hate him. Most of the criticism directed at him is built on misinformation. You simply can't ignore the impact he's had on football. It genuinely makes me sad that hating on Messi has become a trend. I understand that everyone loves an underdog, but that shouldn't turn into tearing down one of the greatest players the sport has ever seen. Especially when many newer fans only know the ending of his story and didn't witness the years of criticism, heartbreak, and pressure he endured with Argentina before finally winning it all. Greatness should be celebrated and admired, not hated.
