As someone who is just never around alcohol I found the experience of smelling it and being around lots of drunk people yesterday extremely uncomfortable. I washed my clothes and myself as soon as I got back home just to get rid of the stench. Leaving religion aside, I just don't get why anyone would drink something that is obviously so bad for your health and which deprives you of self control. I know that alcohol is a major part of many people's lives here and perhaps that's even more true for the working class. But the devil's brew is the devil's brew and anyone who avoids it has an instant advantage in life.

@RmSalih Not when they turn to drugs. The amount of Muslims who smoke cannabis and stronger drugs is much higher than people realise, at least people don’t drink everyday like cannabis smokers. It’s the drug of true lowlifes

@wtfscsol @RmSalih I think most of the Muslims who do this are teenagers going through the same teenage phases everyone else does.

@CodeCode1321636 @RmSalih I checked statistics before I posted. It’s not the case at all a lot of Muslims are lifetime smokers of cannabis. Would make sense most people do have a vice or 2

@CodeCode1321636 @RmSalih There’s a lot more Muslims who drink than you would think aswell up to 80% aren’t teetotal. They do drink a lot less than Brits though
