🚨NEW: A 15-year-old has been spared jail after he nearly killed shoppers by throwing a heavy sofa from the top floor at Westfield Shopping Centre.
He was handed a referral order that includes a three-month curfew and must attend victim awareness intervention.
He told officers the incident was "not that deep."
His friend claimed that they regularly threw objects off bridges and trains as pranks.
