@asukagrypr 120-130 lbs was the average weight of a pre WWI European man. When Americans came in at 135-140, as they were all corn fed farmers, they were considered big. People really have gotten huge over the past 100 years.

By the time Americans came in, the average front line soldier was 115 lbs, with the Germans being a little smaller due to their supply chain issues. So imagine being 115 lbs and seeing a bunch of 140 - 145 corn fed mother fuckers fighting in the trenches with shotguns lol. They would have looked like monsters.
