Does anyone have advice on organizing a meetup? Seriously considering having one in SF, ATL or Portland so any tips or advice would be helpful.

@TaelurAlexis Don’t aim too high for the first one, establish a good community feeling with those who attend and then it’ll grow overtime. Find a sponsor thats familiar to you (like a company u work closely w/), cold calling works better if u already have a bigger number. And most .... (1)

@TaelurAlexis Most important: research what the people in your area are most interested in and looking for what they cant find at other meetups. With Ladies that UX we researched every year in order to find out what our crowd wanted, and then found sponsors/speakers that fit. Good luck! 😁
