Wrong point of view. She is looking for a thinking job in a world of non-thinkers. She's learnt to think, hopefully. If so her way is the entrepreneurship. More money, yes. But...a chance to stay herself. She's already proven she's capable of choosing for herself. She's got to keep on doing that. It's simple.

Specially when you're bombarded by messages like "follow your dreams".

@DeveloperWho @MatrixMysteries I was 14 when I had to defend my choice to learn programming. I did. Everybody was against. It is a question of belief between other things. Exactly I am one of those examples that "follow your dreams" is worthy... and always comes with a price, though. So, I disagree with you.

@creativosweb @MatrixMysteries Yeah but it was a career with future, fellow developer, but the advice should come with some other instructions, it's not only follow your dream is also good to follow the Igikai philosophy

This was back in 1992 and people didn't see programming as important. What is prospective today was not back then. Yet... Ikigai is not exactly the philosophy I personally know. It became... popular. But I deeply believe that unless one knows deeply the culture a philosophy belongs to, is not really capable to understand. I am ... not. The scheme is convincing, though, I must admit.
