Can someone figure out why SSRIs cause GENITAL NUMBNESS that doesn’t go away. Why is this so hard? It’s 2026, this issue should not exist. Fuck me.

@PieAreSqwared You could try somatic tracking on it and see over time if it changes at all. I believe everything caused by SSRI withdrawal can heal if it involves the nervous system, which i would assume numbness does.

@DreamsofDancing It’s been nearly 5 years I can literally stick needles in my dick and barely feel a pinch. It’s not withdrawal it’s PSSD. I haven’t touched an SSRI for 5 years

@PieAreSqwared I havent touched one for 8 years and im numb from the waist down and have muscles so stiff and tight i can only walk with a walker. I know mine is protracted withdrawal. It wouldnt hurt to try it. Im sorry you are dealing with this. It all sucks. Its criminal.

@DreamsofDancing @PieAreSqwared My muscles are stiff. My legs & arms feel heavy. my bladder will go from numb to painful. I’m constipated all the time & have bladder pain. Those are just a few of my dozens of awful symptoms. 10 months into protracted withdrawal from Effexor😢

@worked_over @PieAreSqwared Mine is from Venlafaxine which is generic Effexor. I have issues with my bladder and im constipated too. My legs started out just like yours are. Im using this type of approach to heal and i wish i had found this stuff early on, not 3 years in. youtu.be/46noGj63xHc?si…

@DreamsofDancing @PieAreSqwared I’m listening to him. I actually don’t agree, we’ve totally been poisoned. This is not about using our poisoning to better ourselves. I’ve found when I just allow myself to rest & accept I’ve been poisoned that’s what helps. This isn’t about mental fortitude.

@DreamsofDancing @PieAreSqwared I’m gonna knock on wood, but 10 months into protracted withdrawal & I’m not having chemically induced significant mental health symptoms. My symptoms are almost all physical. Started with urinary retention & a catheter, then fluid retention & rashes. Doctors are baffled.

@DreamsofDancing @PieAreSqwared I’m mentally fine. I’m not fearful. My issues are that my body isn’t isn’t working. I have an appointment today with an ophthalmologist because my right eyelid doesn’t open at night time. so when I wake up to go to the bathroom, only one eye opens. 😜
