Applies to turf. Cold weather seeding is good.

@TurfgrassZealot I always toss on my left over bent seed on greens before I sand for a winter after my final fungicide. It pops nicely in the spring as the weather warms up. Don’t know why I started doing that. But I love cold seeding

@turfcurlicenerd @TurfgrassZealot Why does dormant seeding work, but putting seed out too early in the spring results in rotten seed?

@EngenTy @TurfgrassZealot One would think. But the sand I put on has to protect it. Then the winter snow comes amd goes. I then solid tine and drag everything in each spring and away it goes.
