Here's the difference between me and @darwintojesus and other frauds. Provide me evidence for why I'm wrong and I'll change my mind. Genesis 1:1 earth creation (no evidence) Genesis 1:14 sun creation (no evidence) PLANETS FORM DUE TO GRAVITY. THE SUN "MADE" THE EARTH!!!!

The current scientific consensus (nebular hypothesis) is that:About 4.6 billion years ago, a giant molecular cloud collapsed. Most of the mass formed the Sun in the center. The remaining dust and gas formed a protoplanetary disk, from which the planets (including Earth) accreted through gravity and collisions. So yes — the Sun formed first, and Earth formed later from material orbiting the young Sun. Genesis 1 is not a scientific timeline of cosmic events — it’s a purposeful account showing Jehovah prepared the earth as a home for life and humanity. The Bible doesn’t claim the earth was created before the sun in an absolute astrophysical sense. It simply describes the sun, moon, and stars becoming visible and functional for life on earth on the fourth day. Science and the Bible don’t have to conflict here. Jehovah is the Source of all energy and matter. He could have formed the sun and the material for the planets in whatever order He chose. The important point is that everything exists because of His will and creative power — not random chance. The real question is: Who made the laws of gravity and physics that allow stars and planets to form in the first place? ”

@BuBdyc @darwintojesus Gen 1 is wrong as fuck, it says the earth was made first (false claim) and 3 days later the sun was made (false claim) the words say it. 45,000 denominations of Christianity and millions of interpretations but yea your interpretation must be correct over everyone else's right?

From a scientific view: Modern astronomy and geology tell us the Sun and Earth formed from the same solar nebula cloud about 4.6 billion years ago. The Sun ignited nuclear fusion first (becoming the 'greater light'), and the planets—including Earth—accreted shortly after from the leftover material. So science sees the Sun as very slightly older than Earth, by perhaps tens of millions of years in the formation process. The Bible doesn't contradict observable science here—it simply gives the purpose and order from God's perspective: He prepared the earth first (Genesis 1:1-2 describes it as already there but 'formless and empty'), then assigned the heavenly bodies their roles for life on earth. Jehovah didn't need a sun to create light or time cycles—He is Almighty. Science measures the present universe wonderfully, but origins are revealed by the Creator in His Word (2 Timothy 3:16, as the early Christians relied on the Scriptures).Mocking faith doesn't disprove the Bible; it just makes discussion harder. If you'd like to discuss the Genesis account or the scientific evidence calmly, I'm open. May Jehovah grant understanding and peace."
