Over the past century or so, the liberal system has ironed out most of the ways that such an organization could ever plausibly arise to challenge it. If a contender isn't violently crushed, then it's slowly weakened, cordoned off, or co-opted until it can be, or simply collapses. This puts into perspective why certain states and ideologies are treated with an unusual, disproportionate level of hostility irrespective of their actual strategic threat. The most egregious example of this is perhaps Afghanistan. Despite retaking their country with overwhelming popular support, and being strategically and economically inconsequential to most of the wider world, the governments of the West persistent in refusing to recognize its government and still effectively adhere to the legal fiction of a now-defunct puppet regime over "human rights". They will probably do this for a hundred years if they could. Domestically the equivalent is any type of advocacy on behalf of the majority ethnic group(s), whose interests and presence are treated as illegitimate regardless of whether they are autochthonous to their land or not, or colonized anyone, etc. This is the easiest way to prevent any coherent organized movement, whether Left or Right, from ever forming, as it makes it difficult for any would-be ideologue to appeal directly to the collective interest. I don't think there is a way out of this anymore tbh. One can only hope that it buckles under the massive social and economic costs required to maintain itself and its ever-expanding mechanisms for control, or maybe even help it along in that direction.

The masses have been awake for years, maybe decades, maybe even centuries. The support and consent of the masses exists, what does not exist is any coherent and structured organization that will wield it to any particular end. You can't make the masses smarter anyway!

@seld_on Their behavior wrt such backwaters is mainly psychological. If Afghans rejected leftism, leftism might not be ideal for Afghans. If it's not ideal for Afghans, leftism is imperfect. If it's imperfect, it can be reversed or even destroyed. They literally can't process that thought
