Here’s a mega final edition of positional data: Every team and fixture in GW37 + GW38!
👉🏻Opposition points against per position (home/away)
👉🏻Best positional fixtures and players to target - team by team
(Thread with graphics)
#FPL
As always, a little explanation for those unfamiliar!
I’ve looked at all the remaining fixtures and calculated how many points each position has achieved against each opponent, both home & away over the last 10 games.
i.e Average points ST’s have scored vs Brentford (H)
~ Arsenal assets ~
Looking purely at the Burnley fixture here (in case of rotation in GW38)
👉🏻Huge peaks for both wings! (Saka/Trossard)
Predictably decent numbers across the board. Saka captain looks as good a bet as any!
~ Aston Villa assets ~
As expected, nothing particularly high in these two fixtures.
👉🏻By far the highest peak at ST vs Liverpool.
Given Villa still aren’t guaranteed UCL, it could be a good game for Watkins.
~ Bournemouth assets ~
👉🏻Not awful numbers vs Man City. 3.6 at CB is enough for me to play Senesi!
👉🏻Fantastic CB numbers vs Forest though! Would definitely play at least one CB for that game.
👉🏻Nice looking peak at RW (Rayan), but far less appealing at LW (Tavernier)
~ Brentford assets ~
👉🏻Very nice peak at ST vs Palace.
Seemingly great fixture for Thiago and not too bad across both games.
👉🏻Excellent defensive data vs Palace (Kayode/Collins). Could be punt worthy in GW37!
~ Brighton assets ~
Nothing that particularly stands out. But they are facing two sides with nothing left to play for!
👉🏻Consistent numbers at LW/RW (Minteh)
Particularly interesting for De Cuyper, who is a defender in game and could play on the wing in Mitoma’s absence 👀
~ Burnley assets ~
GW38 could be a week that Burnley assets may finally be on the agenda.
Looking directly at the Wolves game:
👉🏻Excellent defensive numbers across the board (Esteve/Hartman etc)
👉🏻Big peak at RW!
Tchaouna could be the boldest of final day punts!
~ Chelsea assets ~
👉🏻Very interesting peak at RB. Could be nice for Gusto.
👉🏻Nice numbers at RW vs Spurs and then at ST vs Sunderland.
So a decent fixture on paper each for Palmer and Joao Pedro
~ Crystal Palace assets ~
Tough one to call with the European final coming up but let’s assume the main assets play vs Brentford:
👉🏻Favourable enough data to play Munoz and Sarr!
Brentford are great DEFCON opponents too so playing Lacroix/ Richards should be fine
~ Everton assets ~
If only we had one 90 minute striker!
👉🏻HUGE peak at ST across both games! Beto is currently favoured and could be a great punt.
Would expect early subs to Barry though.
👉🏻Fairly promising data for LW too (Ndiaye)
~ Fulham assets ~
👉🏻Very encouraging data on paper for Harry Wilson.
Only issues is the early subs and whether his heart is still in it!
I’d at least give him the Wolves game if you already own!
👉🏻Very decent RB/GK data too (Leno/Castange)
~ Leeds assets ~
👉🏻Quite low numbers for ST position in both games.
Perhaps not ideal for DCL.
👉🏻Pretty low numbers in defence too! Maybe wouldn’t opt to play many Leeds assets for the run in
~ Liverpool assets ~
👉🏻Excellent RW data vs Villa (Frimpong/Szoboszlai?)
👉🏻Notably poor RW data vs Brentford!
If Salah is fit for the last game then it looks as tough as it gets for him!
~ Man City assets ~
👉🏻Low numbers vs Bournemouth but a peak at RW (Semenyo)
Return against his old club perhaps?
👉🏻Consistent numbers centrally in both games, good for Cherki (if he plays)
👉🏻Low ST numbers in both… but it is Haaland we’re talking about!
~ Man United assets ~
👉🏻Notably low numbers centrally in both games!
Bruno is quite data proof but maybe this is enough to not captain him!
👉🏻Very low LW numbers too, not ideal for Cunha
~ Newcastle assets ~
👉🏻Huge ST numbers for the West Ham game! The question is who plays there at the weekend?
👉🏻Not the worst numbers for central assets across the two for those punting on Bruno G
~ Nottm Forest assets ~
👉🏻Low numbers across the board but an intriguing peak at LW in both games.
Could be decent for MGW if he’s able to play!
👉🏻Poor midfield DEFCON opponents and as low CM numbers as you get across two games.
Will Anderson still hit DEFCON in both?
~ Sunderland assets ~
👉🏻Very high numbers at both LW and ST. Could be very decent for Talbi/Brobbey
👉🏻A decent CB tally across both games too for those looking to play Mukiele in either/both
~ Spurs assets ~
👉🏻Standout ST peak! Particularly the Chelsea game but great across both.
Richarlison could be a nice punt with Spurs still fighting relegation!
Nothing else particularly great. Chelsea (A) has been a surprisingly decent fixture of late
~ West Ham assets ~
👉🏻High peak at ST against Newcastle! Been a very consistent position for points in that fixture (Taty Castellanos)
👉🏻Quite consistent numbers across both games in CM/RW (Bowen/M. Fernandes)
~ Wolves assets ~
Now if this was any other team with these fixtures we’d be straight on a triple up!!
Absolutely staggering numbers across both games in basically every position.
Maybe someone is brave enough to punt on a Wolves asset!
Thanks to everyone that has read the whole way😆
As always nothing is guaranteed but hopefully this data is of some use!
All this has been manually tracked, so as you can imagine it took some time!
But the support on these posts is always hugely appreciated - thank you all! 💙
