@FredsFarm247 I’m showing this to my doc. She argues that fruit causes my A1C to go up. I never thought this. I need to listen to myself.

@FredsFarm247 The sugar in fruit, known as fructose, is a natural sugar.

I agree that fruit sugar is healthier than processed sugars due to its fiber and nutrients, but saying it “does not need to be limited” or “doesn’t cause insulin resistance or diabetes” is a bit misleading. Moderation is necessary, too much of anything, even natural sugars from fruits, can still have negative effects on your blood glucose and HBA1C. Let’s keep the balance in check!

@FredsFarm247 Harsh truth about sugar: It's addictive, hidden in many foods, and linked to obesity, diabetes, heart disease, & more. It disrupts metabolism and leads to nutrient deficiency. Natural sugars from Fruits and Veggies are always the best route. 🍬⚠️

@FredsFarm247 Unfortunately it is the cause of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. It is the reason it’s called natures candy.

@FredsFarm247 Body and brain do not need sugars to "run on". You actually get more ATP production from Fats through Aerobic glycolysis and Krebs cycle than you do with carbs and Anaerobic glycolysis

@FredsFarm247 I like most of your posts but I disagree with this one. Yes uptake of glucose is slowed due to the fiber. But it will cause metabolic issues, like DM if you over consume sugar regardless of source. Provide sources on that claim it won't cause diabetes.
