Claude Code on desktop can now preview your running apps, review your code, and handle CI failures and PRs in the background. Here’s what's new:

The shift nobody is framing correctly: the IDE is no longer where you write code. It is where you supervise code being written. Background CI handling is the real inflection point — the development loop is starting to close itself. Within 12 months, "developer" will mean the person who defines what should exist, not the person who types it into existence. Taste and judgment become the actual skill. Typing speed becomes irrelevant.

@twlvone @claudeai This is something I 100% agreed with. SWE today will move towards being PM with UI/UX knowledge. Review the code written (if even that). SWE will have to have a entrepreneurial mindset or move towards devops/ sre roles.
