I’ve been looking into what @NiomeAI is building and honestly, this is one of the more interesting things happening on Bittensor right now.
Real genomic data is insanely hard to scale.
Privacy laws. Patient consent. Years of research. Huge costs.
You can’t just collect millions of DNA samples for every rare disease or drug response.
That’s the problem @NiomeAI is trying to solve.
They generate synthetic genomes that mirror real human DNA patterns without using real patient data.
Then SN55 miners create them and validators test whether the data actually makes biological sense.
If NiomeAI can prove that synthetic genomes can be both realistic and useful, the entire genomic AI pipeline could scale in ways that real-world data simply can’t.
The upside here is really massive.
