Absolutely terrifying :( This doesn’t just happen to big creators too. I’ve had some really uncomfy fan interactions this past year that has made me choose to decline all events that I’d have to travel alone for in the future. Even if you think you’re too small, you’re not.

@Its_Bootz It happening at all is horrible, but hearing from Emiru's post how Twitch did functionally nothing until pressured, while hyping themselves up on how awesome their security would be for this event? Thats just twisting the knife

@Its_Bootz It's so frightening for everyone here, poor Emi in this and sorry you had something similar Boot. Boundaries exist for a reason and the fact someone that this was okay and they were charged and/or arrested is shocking!

@Its_Bootz This sort of thing happens even outside events like this. A coworker tried pulling that on my cousin once and her HR said since he didn't make "contact" that it wasn't a violation. Because she was okay with the "hug".. luckily she had witnesses and got a restraining order on him

@Its_Bootz People really suck. Strangers knowing who you are already sounds scary, but this is a whole other level... Wish we'd live in a world where the solution wouldnlt be for people to shield themselves from these situations
