@JacobL1994_ The recent funeral for Khamenei probably made the Americans realize that the Iranian people still overwhelmingly support the regime, contrary to the previous belief. As such, they wont be holding back now anymore.

@LuciniusMaximus There’s 90 million people in Iran. If even 1% of them went to the funeral it’s going to look huge

@JacobL1994_ The people that can go and march in the streets is what matters in the bigger stage of geopolitics. After all the bombings and assasinations in the first phase of the war, we did not see any major movement among the anti-regime bloc except for some drive-by shootings and ambush.
