See, that parts EASY to figure out. Something clearly changed about how the story is handled somewhere mid ch 6 that caused development to change It was noticeable with all the random retcons showing up near the end of ch 6s story and how drastically different in tone ch 7 feels. Whats really eating at me is the need to know who exactly caused that change. And what the original plan even was.
