What’s not being discussed enough is that Nick Sirianni should’ve went for it after Smitty’s drop. If they don’t get it, Commies are less likely to be as aggressive as they were if they were down 2. Going up 5 allowed Commies to know they need to get 6 and they did just that.

Trusted his defense right call. After Smith dropped the ball there was zero chance they get the 4th down conversion, the story here is why play so soft. It’s obvious your defensive plays better when you are more aggressive, Fangio deserves to be ripped. But again it’s hard to win games when the NFL has its script and guys like Shawn Smith follow it right down to the missed false start at the end that won the game for Wershington

No discussion there. #1 defense in the league, they have to drive the full field for a TD. I think the 4th down luck would have probably run out on that play had they gone for it. Then he gets buried today that they win by a field goal. It’s hard to win games. Smitty makes that catch it’s over. All the confidence in him that next time he makes that catch. Let’s not be hunting for reasons to fire Nick, 11 game win streak is incredible but we take it for granted how good of a coach he is.
