I've decided to step down as CEO of Twenty One. This wasn't an easy decision, but it was the right one. This experience brought tremendous clarity about who I am and what I want to build. My life's work remains Bitcoin. My Bitcoin company is @Strike. The work continues.

I didn't get the indication that Lutnick is a bitcoiner in the true sense (hyperbitcoinization minded), but a mainstream finance guy. That likely didn't help. I think Maller's head and motivations were in the right place. Unfortunately XXI's goals seemed too loosely defined, and had a mix of people with widely different motivations. For instance, which Bitcoin products was XXI started in order to create? I can't tell... I did buy shares in XXI...sold at a loss. And as you can see in the comments of reposts of this tweet, Jack is now, unwittingly, the face of this failure, and will bear the brunt of the blame. However, lots of businesses fail. This is just another. Life goes on.
