too many people in this game never learned to grow up or can't accept the fact they peaked in middle school.
nearly every other day i hear about people acting like a fool because they didn't get their way.
the sex culture or whatever you want to call it, it has also been a little too normalized that you also can't go a single day without some random or even someone you know sexually harassing you, with them disregarding your relationship status as well.
should i go on?
there's too many kids running on this game, and personally vrchat as a whole should have been 18+ from the start. i hate seeing posts of people in vrc, often being content creators having had relationships, erp'ed with, or even groomed minors. granted there's also the issue of minors lying about their age to get with adults, and that is equally as disgusting.
then on to the "content creators:" too many of you have such an overinflated ego it's genuinely saddening to see. just because you've gotten 100+ likes on tweets and over 2k followers doesn't give you the permission to treat others like utter garbage behind their back, while also catering to, or chasing bigger names for your own personal gain.
and it's not just the community i have gripes with, but also the team behind vrchat themselves.
for years, they've been neglecting or maybe even shying away from these growing issues while it continues to get worse. all the while they are constantly pushing advertising towards their mediocre shop slop, vrc+, and other monetization, most likely to appease to their investors.
the only reason i haven't moved away from vrc entirely is because unfortunately there's no good competitors, and lately there's been better things to do besides being in vr all day every day.
