@ifellonithonest @sjksanders My old school have told their kids not to bother applying for places at Edinburgh for law and medicine as they won’t even get offers due to quotas and social engineering policies. More now going to oxbridge and other top English unis than ever before.

@ifellonithonest @sjksanders Edinburgh are quite open about it. When my niece was applying for law she was not to waste an application on Edinburgh as they’d stated all places going to kids from “lower income postcodes”. She went to Aberdeen and has loved it. Silver linings.

@LessGrumpy @ifellonithonest I’m glad she liked it - yes, Edinburgh has always been tough but it’s wild they’re being so blatant.
