
unpopular thought but i think figma's biggest threat isn't another design tool. it's the fact that designers are starting to skip the mockup phase entirely.
i've been going from rough sketch → cursor → live
code more and more lately. the fidelity of a working prototype beats a figma frame every single time in stakeholder reviews. people can click it, feel it, break it. no amount of smart animate competes with that.
