➡️ Connecticut just passed a law directing its Department of Education to create Islamic and Arab studies resources for public schools.
➡️ The materials are technically optional, but they will be developed at the state level, offered to local districts, and schools will be encouraged to use them.
➡️ World history already includes the study of major religions and civilizations. Connecticut does not need to create a specially designed curriculum for one religious and cultural group.
