On the ground nr Ealing Bdwy Stn, & at an angle to preserve his privacy is a homeless man clearly down on his luck. I could hear the conversation & he was being treated with kindness ,& compassion with offers of support. One of many unheralded humanitarian acts by officers today.

@obbsie @TerraRasa Whenever I’ve done this, I kneel or crouch to their level rather than stand over them. I think it makes for a better interaction and doesn’t look oppressive to passers-by.

@OffenceCode @TerraRasa In actual fact, the sergeant, when I walked past and stopped briefly, was leaning down so his face was almost on the same level as the guys when talking to him. By the time I'd walked past and got an unobtrusive angle he'd straightened up.
